Honey.

Here are several healthy and easy recipes to use honey in.

Recipe One: whipped honey

When honey crystallizes, you have two options- the heat-up method or you make whipped honey

What is Whipped Honey? Whipped honey, also known as creamed honey, is a smooth and spreadable version of honey that's been processed to control crystallization. Unlike regular honey, it has a silky, buttery texture that makes it ideal for spreading on toast, biscuits, or mixing into tea. The whipping process prevents the formation of large crystals, giving it a light, fluffy consistency while maintaining all the natural sweetness and flavor of honey.

Step 1:

Place the crystallized honey in a mixing bowl.

Step 3:

Once whipped, transfer it to a jar and let it sit at room temperature for 24 hours to firm up.

Step 2:

Using a stand or hand mixer, beat the honey on medium speed for about 20 minutes, until it becomes creamy and smooth.

Ingredients:

1 cup HyeLand’s Naturals Honey

Recipe two: Hot honey

What is Hot Honey? Hot honey is a sweet and spicy condiment made by infusing honey with chili peppers. It adds a delightful kick to foods like pizza, fried chicken, cheese, or even roasted vegetables, blending sweetness with heat for a versatile flavor boost.

Step 1:

In a small saucepan, combine honey and chili flakes over low heat.

Step 3:

Remove from heat and let it cool for 10-15 minutes.

Step 5:

Stir in the apple cider vinegar for an extra layer of flavor. (Optional)

Ingredients:

1 cup HyeLand’s Naturals Honey

1–2 tablespoons chili flakes (adjust based on your heat preference)

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (optional for a slight tang)

Step 2:

Warm the mixture for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not let it boil.

Step 4:

It’s a versatile dressing that pairs beautifully with salads, grilled chicken, or as a dip for veggies and fries. The honey provides a smooth sweetness, balancing the sharpness of the mustard and the acidity of the vinegar for a well-rounded flavor.
